Sumilarv Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) is registered for use with an adulticide to control cockroaches and fleas in domestic, industrial and public health situations.
Sumilarv IGR contains the active ingredient 20 g/L Pyriproxyfen.
For insecticide resistance management Sumilarv Insect Growth Regulator is a Group 7C insecticide. Some naturally occurring insect biotypes resistant to Sumilarv and other Group 7C insecticides may exist through normal genetic variability in any insect population. The resistant individuals can eventually dominate the insect population if Sumilarv or other Group 7C insecticides are used repeatedly.
