The Sundstrom SR518 Threaded Gas Filter is an organic A2 class gas filter suitable for use with Sundstrom PAPRs SR500 and SR500ex respirators.
Key features of the Sundstrom SR518 Threaded Gas Filter
- Protects against organic gases and vapours, such as solvents, with boiling points > 65 °C.
- The filter is screwed directly into the fan unit of SR500 or SR500ex PAPR. The SR 500/SR 500 EX fan unit must always be used with two particle filters or two combined filters consisting of gas filters and particle filters.
- Please note the filters are supplied individually and 2 cartridges required for SR500 fan unit
- Made from Plastic polypropylene. No metal parts.
- Size: Largest diameter: 108 mm, thickness: of 57 mm and weight of 285 g

- Breakthrough time >75 min in 1,000 PPM of cyclohexane
- Temperature range Storage: –20°C to +40°C at <90% RH
- Use: -10°C to +55°C, <90% RH
- Store at room temperature in clean, dry place. If seal has been broken, store away from contaminants in an air-tight container. Shelf life is 5 years if seal is unbroken.
