Trapper Rat Glue Trays are manufactured with low-profile plastic trays, designed to reduce the chance of rodents stopping at the edge of the tray. The trap's narrow lip also keeps rodents from skirting along the edges of the tray and avoiding the glue.

The use of glue traps, adhesive material, and glue boards for the purpose of trapping animals is prohibited in Victoria. This includes use by commercial pest control operators.

Insect glue traps may only be sold or used if they are not capable of trapping an animal. They must have a cage or other protection that prevents any animal from contact with the adhesive surface.

Important Message for NSW Pest Control Operators

Under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Regulation 2025, the use of glue traps for rodent control is now prohibited across New South Wales. As outlined in Part 6, Miscellaneous, Section 42 of the Regulation:

• A glue trap must not be set unless it is designed to prevent the capture of an animal or is enclosed in a cage or protective covering.
• The restriction applies across the entirety of NSW.
• The definition of a glue trap includes any device using non-drying adhesive material as the mode of capture.
